The Cosmic Level

The Cosmic Level

Sometimes I sit quietly. Think about if life is only happening here or if we are just a tiny part of something much bigger. At first this thought seems weird. The more I think about it the weirder it gets. That is when I start to think about the level. When I think about the level everything seems different. My daily worries, like deadlines and arguments and small mistakes seem small. When I think about all the stars and galaxies and how big the universe is, I start to realize just how big everything really is. It feels like I am standing on the edge of an ocean trying to figure out how deep it is. The really cool thing is that even though the universe is really really big we are still a part of it. The stars had the atoms that are in our bodies. In a way the universe is not something from us we are made from the universe. This makes me feel connected to the universe and to people. Maybe that is what the cosmic level is all about. It reminds me that life is not about the small things that happen every day. Out there beyond what we can see the universe is still happening and somehow we are already a part of it. The level it makes me think about how small we are, but also how connected we are to the universe and, to the cosmic level.
